Selecting colors: At some wall space, you can use a single uniform color whereas at other wall sites, you can use complimentary colors to create a contrast. The selection of colors depends upon the selected design theme. For example, you can use white color or sky blue color for ceilings. The choice of colors can be different for different rooms. For example, in kids room, you can paint cartoons using vibrant colors to develop a dreamy impression. Expert painters help you in selecting colors according to design scheme.
Use top quality paint: Remember only top quality paints last for a long time and retain their shine in adverse conditions such as rain, snowfall and extreme heat. Binders are important components of top quality paints that help the paint to stick strongly with the walls. Some additives in paint are necessary as they preserve the shine of paints and avoid growing of moulds and other pests on your walls. Interior Painting Inspired by van Gogh by k Madison Moore

This is what Vincent said about his painting Sorrowing Old Man ('At Eternity's Gate')
"Today and yesterday I drew two figures of an old man with his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands. I did it of Schuitemaker once and always kept the drawing, because I wanted to do it better another time. Perhaps I’ll also do a lithograph of it. What a fine sight an old working man makes, in his patched  bombazine suit with his bald head."

I always loved this painting but I found it to be so sad so never used it in my work. After reading about van Gogh's doubts with his faith I decided to change the old man into van Gogh.
When Van Gogh was younger, he was thinking about dedicating his life to those living in poverty through evangelization. This religious undertaking helped him to create the Starry Night painting that everyone knows today. He was in an asylum in 1889 when he painted the image of the night sky with stars sparkling in the moonlight. Count the stars and there will be 11 of them.
Then I pictured  Vincent  sitting on his bed  praying deeply under the sky of his Starry Starry Night painting. I found this beautiful painting that Vincent painted after Rembrandt's  Head of an Angel and pictured it hanging on the wall behind him protecting him and blessing him in hopes of restoring Vincent's faith.
…and that is the inspiration for this painting about Vincent.

“The Angel (After Rembrandt)” is also known as “Head of an Angel (After Rembrandt)” and “Half Figure of an Angel (After Rembrandt).” It’s an oil painting that looks more like watercolors than oils completed in September 1899, less than a year before Vincent Van Gogh would die of a gunshot wound.

Although not considered one of Van Gogh’s best works, it is one of his most notorious because the current location of the painting is unknown. Even the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, considered the most knowledgeable source of information on the enigmatic artist, has no idea where the painting is now or whether it has been accidentally destroyed or sitting in a private collection...

Rembrandt (1606–1669) painted many angels in his legendary career as well as other religious scenes. Van Gogh would copy numerous Rembrandt's, especially those featuring angels. This particular painting is done mainly in shades of blue with a yellow halo.  These shades and streaks of yellow can be seen in Van Gogh’s famous painting “The Starry Night.”  The angel’s downcast face is in pale skin tones, making the face pop out from the rest of the painting.
The angel is pretty but is not looking at the viewer. One arm is outstretched to the viewer, but the palm is tightly closed. The angel seems at once to be revelatory and yet still retains his secrets, almost teasing the viewer with his closed eyes, seraphic smile and closed hand. The angel mirrors Van Gogh’s own dilemma with Christianity.
Van Gogh and Christianity
Van Gogh was a minister in an impoverished mining community in Belgium when he was struck by the desire to create. His superiors removed him from the ministry because he looked and acted more like one of the miners than a minister. He was sent home in disgrace. It also during this time that Van Gogh doubted the same beliefs that he was preaching. Why would a loving God allow such suffering?
Van Gogh wrestled with Christianity the way that Jacob wrestled with the Angel – another Biblical scene Rembrandt painted but Van Gogh declined to copy. The angel in that painting has his eye half-opened and looks on Jacob with pity. Van Gogh’s angel looks very much like this angel, but does not show pity.

But, when it comes to the maintenance task land lords often hesitate to spend money. Sometimes they fail to realize that, the value of a property can fall dramatically if not maintained properly.

So, how to do the maintenance task? Hiring a professional painting company is the best option. But for those who have enough time and energy to do it by themselves, we are going to suggest some step by step house painting tips. We hope that by following this steps you can save a fair amount of maintenance cost.

Interior painting is a bit difficult then exterior painting because you have to plan properly beforehand. Below is some useful steps for a successful interior painting project :

1.Calculate Total Space
Calculating the total area which you are going to paint is important because it will help you estimate the amount of paint and cost associated. This is simple. All you have to do is measure the width and height of the room with a tape measure and multiply them to calculate total area. There are various type of tape measure available to buy online .Take note of all the wall space separately because if you wish to use different color, this information will help you to buy right volume of paint.

2.Securing Furniture’s and Floor Area
While doing the paint job, there is a chance that you will mess up with paints all over the room. How do you save your valuable furniture from this? Best option: move all the furniture in backyard if possible. If you don't have that option, then you have to cover all the undesired areas .Use a drop cloth to cover the floor area. Make sure to use painters tape to attach the edges of drop cloths to secure the floor. Alternatively you can use plastic drop sheet. This will be useful to cover large and heavy furniture’s. All the portable things, wall hangings should be removed.

3.Child Safety
It is a fact that there are toxic elements in paints which can be harmful for human health specially children. If you have children or pregnant mother at your home then it’s always a good idea to send them somewhere else. Do not compromise health issues while painting at home. Another important thing is to choose water based paint products. We will talk more about this later in the post.

4. Selecting the Paint Color and Brand
Choice of color varies person to person. Some people like deep color some love light. Whatever color you choose for your room, keep some basic points in mind. Those are:

Your Mood / Your Color Choice
Lighting of the Room
Color Terms
Size of the Room
Room Decoration
Color Combination with other Room
Follow the Color Wheel
Monochromatic Schemes
Variety of Paint Finishes
Although there might be debate about which brand is better but make sure you buy low or zero VOC’s paint because it’s much more health friendly. Some famous paint brands are:
Dulux
Taubmans
Wattyl
Brinlay
New Zealand Resene
Zinsser

5.Painting
This is the most interesting part. All your previous hard work will be paid off if you are a bit careful in this stage. Wear protective mask and plastic gloves to cover head and hand. Follow the instruction written in the paint can for mix up. Use large plastic bucket, paint brush and roller as per your need. Always follow a specific sequence. Painting from top to bottom is standard practice. Try to be consistent while rolling over the wall. Use paint application pads for cutting the edges. After painting is done first time, wait for at list 1 hour before final finishing touch. This will allow the walls to absorb the paint quickly and help to get a smooth finish. After all the painting task is done, use Paint Stripper/Remover to clean paints from undesired areas. Now you have to wait for the drying process. Wait for at list 8 to 16 hours.
As we mentioned previously, painting by yourself need a lot of energy and time. Although it can be fun as well. If you follow the instruction properly, not only it can save your cost but you will also get huge mental satisfaction as well. We wish you good luck for your interior painting project!
